CANYON recently released a wireless charger that is capable of charging multiple devices at the same time. We review the new CANYON Wireless Charger OnCharge 309, and here are our thoughts about it.
The portable OnCharge 309 wireless charger features a metal-colored chassis. The device comes with dimensions of 61 mm × 90 mm × 22.6 mm and weighs only 243 grams. The wireless charger comes with anti-slip silicone surfaces where the smart devices stay intact while placed for charging.
The Wireless Charger OnCharge 309 is designed to charge up to 3 different smart devices at the same time, and this includes a smartphone, wireless earbuds, and smartwatches. CANYON mentions that the charger features built-in strong magnets that help to keep smartphones aligned for the perfect charging positions.
While the top charging module is used for placing smartphones, the bottom charging module is used for placing other smaller devices such as the charging case of wireless earbuds. You can place the smartphone horizontally or vertically on the smartphone module. The device uses a USB-C port as a means to connect to the main power supply.
On the rear side, there is also a separate charging module to place smartwatches. The smartphone charging module has a maximum charging capacity of 15 W, along with the earbud charging module with support for 5 W charging and the smartwatch charging module with support for 2.5 W charging.
CANYON also placed some protection features such as “Over Voltage”, “Over Temperature”, “Over Current”, and “Foreign Object Detection”. The device also has its own LED indicator to showcase the charging status. In terms of compatibility, the OnCharge 309 works with all Qi-enabled smartphones and devices.
We should also mention that the charger can be folded down to a slim and travel-friendly size.
